Please note this is a 3-day ‘day sailing’, to gain experience in different waters than Solent. This is intended as a gentle daily sail - cruising style sailing. involving some practicing of tacking, occasional stops to pubs, or St Mawes, and sunny Coves - this is not a racing trip.

Berths

Berths are shared. We will be a mixture of men and women.

Is there any other accommodation available at this late stage?

Yes - try The Chain Locker or there are lots of hotels and guest houses nearby, but wise to book now.

Parking

The Dell or other for duration. If you provide registration number, we can arrange for short-term parking for dropping off kit.

Cost

£500 per person, includes yacht charter of a 40’ Dufour, sailing, berth at Falmouth Yacht Haven, shared berth on board and a qualified skipper who is a qualified instructor. Dinners and drinks are extra.

Q: What if the weather is too inclement for sailing on any day?

A: We will go into Falmouth or can visit Trebah or Glendurgan Gardens or perhaps go up river for lunch at The Pandora Inn.

Q:  Will we be anchoring and stopping to swim?

A:  Maybe - if we want to and if it’s hot. This would be very nice.
